Observing a spectacular panoramic view of 6 churches in a surrounding including church Brezje and church Jamnik always made me wonder what’s on the other side.
On sunny days golden light covers tops of the churches. On rainy days fog holds them in to mist of wonders.
It was time to stop this nonsense, to stop wondering and hitt the road.
I called my colleague mr. Uroš Abram with whom I previously shared some amazing landscapes, grabbed some food, packed my photo gear with some chairs as well and went on to explore the other side.
Day of a new moon, dark night, the end of August sounds as a perfect night for some star shooting doesn’t it?
This time I wasn’t happy with the results of my images.
After a bit of a brainstorming I’ve remembered there is still some equipped left in the car from my previous shooting.

I opened the camera shutter for a longer time and start to draw lines while slowly walking towards the church, with a help of LED lights in my hands, on my head and legs.
Of course I didn’t succeed at once. In fact, I had quite a sporty night, doing a lot of walking, but I enjoyed it very much.
After some walks, I finally caught the right rhythm between the shutter time and distance.
A rose light behind the church was a great ending of an overnight project: on the other side.
Time to pack our equipment and go home.
