The Globočnik Tourist farm is located in the village Globoko along the Sava River (Radovljica), where you are served with authentic Slovenian food. In the old farmhouse you can eat in a preserved black kitchen or a in a cellar. In summer u can eat even in the summer shed.

My first experience in Globoko was the birthday celebration of my friend Andrej Globočnik – Andi (passionate beekeeper). Enchanted by all the artwork that my eye has looked at, I decided to return, but this time fully ‘armed’ with photo equipment.

They were happy to show us around, and it was like u will go to museum. Heand work by owner Vinko Globočnik stop the time and you quickly forget to drink your coffee, when you drift off to the world of the past.

While the owner Nika welcomes the incoming guests, the owner Mr. Vinko is already preparing foods. Time is not yet 12, and from the kitchen you can attribute the smell of the fresh fish Zlatovščica.

An antique collection, a hive-fresco -110 years old
Great food, good atmosphere made me so fascinating that I came back again. This time, i was concentrated on details, Vinko’s products and antiques, which adorn the Globočnik homestead. Beautiful.

Peter felt relaxed and happy to debate about his birthplace (Bled) and about the culinary that he met in his life with ‘high society’ in Monte Carlo and elsewhere. He says he will come back when he can.
